Founded in 1920 in Matosinhos, Conservas Pinhais is a historic, family-run cannery that produces premium sardines using traditional methods.
They hand-select, clean, and pack each fish, with fresh ingredients and olive oil, a process that has remained largely unchanged for over 100 years.

Known for their commitment to quality and heritage, Conservas Pinhais is one of the few remaining traditional factories in the region, offering products under their own name and the internationally recognized Nuri Brand.
Conservas Pinhais treasures and cherishes the unique legacy of a three-generation fish preservation business that has passed from one experienced hand to the hands of daughters and granddaughters to give consumers a taste of 100 years of tradition.

Casa da Música Tour

493€ for Animais de Rua!

We would like to thank Casa da Música and Ricardo for our look behind the scenes of this amazing building. We enjoyed learning about the architecture from the beautiful tiled rooms to the incredible wavy glass. Hearing the orchestra practice was an unexpected treat!

Join us for a unique guided tour of Casa da Música, a stunning architectural masterpiece located in Porto. Designed by the renowned architect Rem Koolhaas and inaugurated in 2005, this iconic cultural venue stands out with its distinctive modernist design, characterized by bold geometric shapes and a dynamic façade.


Beyond its breathtaking exterior, Casa da Música boasts exceptional acoustics, making it a favored venue for diverse musical performances and artistic expressions. It serves not only as a concert hall but also as a community hub, reflecting the city’s commitment to art and culture. We are happy to announce that we raised €1130 for

We would like to thank the talented comedians of Lagosta Nua for the laughs and Clandestino for their delicious food.
A huge thank you to Scoundrel’s for donating their space and to Animais de Rua’s representative Maria for telling us about this wonderful charity and how donations go to help animals and people in need.

Lagosta Nua brings together some of the sharpest comedic minds for a fast-paced, feel-good night of entertainment.

Whether you’re a comedy connoisseur or just looking for a fun night out, this is your chance to laugh out loud and give to Animais de Rua at the same time!

Lagosta Nua is an international improvisational comedy troupe that has been performing in Porto for the past two years.

Amateurs and professionals get together every Sunday for two hours of interactive clowning around similar to the popular tv show“Whose Line is it Anyway”.

Newcomers are always welcome. The only requirement is the ability to have fun!

Clandestino street food is coming to Porto! Born in Brazil and then moved to the USA as Barbarian Fine Cuisine, this pop-up business is the brainchild of Chris (from Alaska) and Thais (from Brazil). No matter where they serve, they believe in real food made from scratch, with love and premium ingredients.

Our 4th annual Christmas Tea will be at the private Cusco Bar in the Hilton Gaia. A beautiful space with a panoramic view of the river and surrounding area.

We are proud to support both of our charities this year : APF and Animais de Rua. These charities do incredible work for the people and animals of Portugal year-round. We are honored to be able to work with them to help make a difference.

Join us for a cozy afternoon filled with delicious holiday treats, (vegetarian options available, please let us know on the sign up form), warm seasonal teas, hot cocoa and the sounds of your favorite Christmas music.

Enjoy festive games, visiting with friends old and new and a special holiday toast as we create memories together!
