Help us grow (without giving up your “slow life”!) 🇵🇹 As Porto Kind enters its second year, we are looking for a few more helping hands to join our community.
We know most of us moved to Portugal for a more relaxed pace of life, and we recognize that no one is looking for a new full-time job!
Our philosophy is simple: Volunteering should fit your life, not complicate it.
To keep things easy, we’ve changed how we do things for Year 2: Micro-Jobs: We’ve broken tasks down into small roles that require only a few hours a month.
The “Buddy System”: We aim to have two people for every role. If you’re traveling or have guests in town, you can simply pass the baton to your partner—no stress, no guilt.
Community Impact: Porto is full of talented people, and we’d love to see that talent benefit the local charities we serve.
Bonus: For those working toward Portuguese Citizenship, volunteering is a meaningful way to demonstrate your integration and service to the community!

Volunteer Job Opportunities
Membership Coordinator:
Work on membership campaigns, connect with members and engage in the community.
Duties include:
~Help us welcome new members
~Work with our VP on member engagement
~Approximately 15 hours per month
Membership Ambassadors (3):
Recruit new members by engaging with the community to raise awareness of Porto Kind. Go to meet ups and other gatherings with promotional materials.
~Approximately 5-10 hours per month

Event Team Coordinators (2):
~Work with event team to create and promote PK events
~Find creative ways to fund-raise for our charities
~Work with others to bring their ideas to life
~Approximately 10-15 hours per month. These are team positions and the time is flexible
