As Porto Kind enters its second year, we are looking for a few more helping hands to join our community. We know most of us moved to Portugal for a more relaxed pace of life, and we recognize that no one is looking for a new full-time job!
Our philosophy is simple: Volunteering should fit your life, not complicate it.
To keep things easy, we’ve changed how we do things for Year 2:
Micro-Jobs: We’ve broken tasks down into small roles that require only a few hours a month.
The “Buddy System”: We aim to have two people for every role. If you’re traveling or have guests in town, you can simply pass the baton to your partner—no stress, no guilt.
Community Impact: Porto is full of talented people, and we’d love to see that talent benefit the local charities we serve.
Bonus: For those working toward Portuguese Citizenship, volunteering is a meaningful way to demonstrate your integration and service to the community!
