Our 4th annual Christmas Tea will be at the private Cusco Bar in the Hilton Gaia. A beautiful space with a panoramic view of the river and surrounding area.

We are proud to support both of our charities this year : APF and Animais de Rua. These charities do incredible work for the people and animals of Portugal year-round. We are honored to be able to work with them to help make a difference.

Join us for a cozy afternoon filled with delicious holiday treats, (vegetarian options available, please let us know on the sign up form), warm seasonal teas, hot cocoa and the sounds of your favorite Christmas music.

Enjoy festive games, visiting with friends old and new and a special holiday toast as we create memories together!

2025 has been a big year for Porto Kind. We have seen a lot of changes and are looking forward to seeing what we can do as a community in 2026. Bring your friends, family and significant others to celebrate the season with Porto Kind!

Kombucha Workshop

Join us for an exclusive talk and tasting with Aquela Kombucha at theLab Porto!

Aquelo Kombucha was founded in Porto by Maria Lima, who started brewing in her mother’s kitchen. Aquela Kombucha focuses on sustainable and organic ingredients.

Kombucha, a naturally fermented tea, is not only low in calories but also packed with probiotics and antioxidants.

We will taste their products and learn about the brand’s history. In addition to the tasting, a member of the Aquela Kombucha team will lead a talk, sharing their story and expertise.

You will learn the steps to making your own kombucha at home and will receive a liquid SCOBY – a live culture of bacteria and yeast – essential to getting you started on your own fermentation journey.

A new cellulose disc, the classic SCOBY, will form on its own as a by-product of your first brew.

This is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of kombucha and become a home brewer!
