All proceeds from this museum tour will go to APF!Reserve your tickets here! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us on a guided tour of the Casa-Museu Teixeira Lopes/ Galerias Diogo de Macedo in Gaia. This 18th century building holds valuable works of art and an important collection of bronze sculptures\, marble and plasterboard models created by Teixeira Lopes (1866-1942).The museum is supervised by the Municipality of Gaia\, with a thematic vocation in the area of fine arts\, comprised of the works of the sculptors António Teixeira Lopes and Diogo de Macedo and the collections gathered by them. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the house\, which is divided into spaces of residence and work\, remains the original furniture\, the originals of the sculptor’s work (in plaster\, marble\, bronze and various drawings in blood\, charcoal\, pencil and sepia)\, as well as works by other artists in sculpture (Soares dos Reis and Oliveira Ferreira)\, and in painting (Gustavo Doré\, Vieira Portuense\, etc.). Where we will learn about the city through it’s iconic street art. With local expert guide João\, from Cool Street Art Tour in Porto\, we will find out about everything from giant murals to graffiti and all things in between. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoão is the coordinator of the Porto Walls Forever project\, an informal project that attempts to document and study the Street Art phenomenon in Porto.
